By using the bot, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services, we collect the following types of information:

  • Telegram Metadata: We automatically receive your Telegram User ID, username, and first/last name when you interact with the bot. This is used to identify your account and send you personalized notifications.
  • Canvas LMS Data: To fetch your assignments, we require your Canvas API Token and your university's Canvas URL. We also process data regarding your courses and assignments to generate reminders.
  • Usage Data: We may log basic interaction data (commands used, errors encountered) to help us debug and improve the bot's performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Statistics: We may use your data to generate aggregated statistics, such as the total number of users and activity volume, to understand platform usage.

4. Data Retention

We retain your Canvas API Token and related settings for as long as you use our service. Authentication tokens are stored securely. You can delete your stored data at any time by accessing the Settings menu within the Telegram bot.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We do not share your Canvas Token or assignment data with third parties, except as required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Security

We implement appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and API tokens stored in our system.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information stored by our bot. If you wish to revoke access, you can generate a new Canvas Token in your Canvas settings (invalidating the old one) or request the deletion of your data from our system.

8. Disclaimer & Liability

This platform was developed for educational and learning purposes. We utilize industry-standard security measures, including Google Cloud KMS (Key Management Service) and other Google Cloud Platform services, to protect your data.
