Get your Canvas Token.
Follow these simple steps to generate an access token. This allows the bot to securely read your assignments and send you reminders.

Log in to Canvas
Go to your university's Canvas website (e.g., canvas.instructure.com) and log in.

Go to Settings
Click on Account in the left sidebar, then select Settings.

Scroll to Integrations
Scroll down to the Approved Integrations section.

Generate Token
Click the + New Access Token button.

Name & Create
Enter a purpose (e.g., Telegram Bot) and set expiration to the end of your semester. Click Generate Token.

Copy & Paste
Copy the long string of characters shown. Paste it into the bot.
